Welcome to the Yorkshire region of the British Cactus and Succulent Society.
The society is organised into geographical zones and the Yorkshire region includes seven branches throughout the area. See our map for these locations or follow the links on the left for details of our branches.
Yorkshire has always been a great place for cactus enthusiasts ever since the Yorkshire Cactus Society was formed in 1945. By 1947 this had become the National Cactus and Succulent Society which was later merged with its friendly rival to form the BCSS.
Today each branch offers a range of meetings and other activities including greenhouse visits and social events. A number of branches hold an Annual Show, and the zone holds an Annual Rally in October. See our Events page for dates and venues – further details will be added as soon as possible.
If you can get to one of our branches why not come along and introduce yourself. You you will always be assured of a very warm welcome.
